Yeah, I kind of feel that compacting them makes for a different eating experience. Not that I would be opposed to just a plate of meat and onion and salad, but I guess it's the experience? I don't know. I've never really dissected the aesthetics of food. I do have a thing for food textures, though. There are some things I won't eat. I guess I empathise with the toddlers.
