A pale face appeared in the window, and Noah had just enough time to recognize it before he was dragged inside by a surprisingly strong grip to his shoulder. He was probably bigger than Daniel—Noah Nicodemo was by no means a small dude—but, damn if the pinch to his shoulder didn't smart. Through it, Noah could hazily make out Daniel's bottled emotional state—the worry and the... anger? Something. "No," he said, knowing Daniel would feel better if he had the information than not and feeling like greetings and niceties would only frustrate the dude. "But, we've talked and I can tell he's—he doesn't want to be there a lot, but he's okay." Noah's dark eyes lit on Daniel's, his expression earnest to the marrow. "He wanted me to tell you not to worry, but, I mean, obviously it's not that easy."
