She drank from the coffee and purred happily. It was very good, black and rich, almost too rich for someone whose first taste of coffee was from instant grains in ceramic. Nobody he knew had an espresso machine in the 60's. Maybe back then he hadn't known the right people. She blinked out of the memory, the personal shift that came with the memory. Better to be in the present right now. The green eyes settled on his face and slowly refocused.
"Is Jeremiah your real name?" She asked it sudden, hoping to surprise the truth out of him.
