Re: Jeremiah & Janis
She watched his hands as he made the coffee, appreciating the view, and not just from a purely physical standpoint. Being in this particular body always gave her a sense of wellbeing that she didn't have elsewhere, a stubborn rightness that she was in her own skin and there was very little else to be. It gave her a sense of space, room to metaphorically sit back and admire the world as it went by. Of course, in the demon's mind, she would not have been able to enunciate more except to say that it was usually "relaxing" to be the blonde.
"This morning!" her brows arched. "I am impressed. I don't ship in my Folgers from farther than the grocer's." She jerked an ear toward her shoulder in the general direction of Main Street.
She didn't know what an Apple Air was. She knew about Apple the company, and so guessed accurately that it was either a phone or a computer. "Fancy," she prevaricated, still smiling. She looked over her shoulder after drawing her cup nearer and twisting it around in her grip so she could hold it in both palms. "Dog, huh? That's pretty common here. They come, they get bored, they adopt pets. Lots of stuff in the woods that will eat pets, though, so better to keep them at home." The comment was meant well.
