"Coffee with something stronger coming up then," he offered easily heading towards the kitchen to start the coffee. There was an espresso machine and a pour over, and it was the latter that Jeremiah went for as he measured out coffee from a small container stored next to it.
His bar cart would reveal a variety of drinks, someone who had both access too and good taste in liquor. His kitchen as well, what was visible suggested a cook's choice, and items that were well-used.
As he waited for the coffee to pour, he turned back around to face her and shrugged as if to say 'well, I worked for the mob once, what did you expect'.
"It's larger than my last place," he glanced upwards towards the wooden beams, and the tall ceilings. "But I can't argue with the view at all, and fortunately I don't do the cleaning," he chuckled. "Not that I'm particularly messy, but this is a lot of space to keep clean." There was a beat, and then he added: "What's your place like?"
