[She doesn't send a card, but she uses the key when he's not there (she kind of maybe watches and watches until he leaves), and when he comes home the entire house is covered in a cacophony of wildflowers (obviously ordered from somewhere very warm). They're strewn through rooms, along the floors, with petals over soft and hard surfaces. She's made sure they're all safe for the Espresso, Cinnamon, and Heart, and they all have treats in their bowls to keep them occupied. On the kitchen counter, there's one homemade cupcake that's kind of tippy and not at all perfect, and the napkin it sits on has a note written in her script: "It won't kill you. I promise!" And beneath note and cupcake there's a worn, well-loved book that just says "Happy Valentine's Day. I'm so glad we met. <3 Hannah" written on the title page.]
