Sadie's: Leena B/Sadie M
She took that offered hug like it was gold, both arms closing around her girlfriend's slim frame and smiled the kiss pressed to her temple. It was easy to think things wouldn't be okay when she wasn't here, but with Sadie? Even the worst things felt a little better.
"Hi," she muttered in return, face pushed up against her shoulder as she held on for a few more heartbeats. She could let go, it'd be fine. Fine was still a lie, and she sighed as her arms gradually relaxed, head still facing downward before she tired to glance up and give Sadie a little, tiny smile.
She didn't look any rougher than she usually did, but there was a tension around her eyes and mouth that spoke of something being wrong.
"Did you?" Her tone was soft and warm though, easy where her mouth was not. That tilt of Sadie's head -- her gaze followed to where the metal skewers were, and the sweets on them.
"Only place I'd come to," she said quietly. Maybe once she'd have gone to Damian's, but Damian had his own stuff going on and she had Sadie and Sadie was -- Sadie was first choice. "Yes to both, please." Being curled up and getting fed s'mores? She breathed out slowly, a little tension easing out of her shoulders. "S'mores, and then talking," she said as a compromise.
