Re: sushi-time: adrian, patrick, lou
Patrick and Adrian saw siblingness in a very different way, man. Patrick did not believe there was anything called permanent damage among siblings, and he was most fine with his bro. He did not, however, want their relationship to be based on Adrian wanting to do him 'some good,' because this was not familial relation in Patrick's estimation. But the dude had no clue that Adrian saw them as permanently broken. If he did, man, Patrick would not be sitting in that chair, smile on his face and arm casually draped along the back of Adrian's chair. "Man, Lou was assigned to calling you. It is not my fault if she failed in her duties," he joked, and he squeezed his bro's gun one more time before turning his attention once again to his beer as Lou talked to Adrian about trouble.
As for the comment about the facility dude, Patrick did not say it heavily, but he could tell he had put a burr in the conversation. Man, Patrick got most tired of not speaking. It had occurred too often with Con, man, where true things could not be discussed, and he was just not the kind of dude to want to live in that space. If something was up, he wanted to discuss it. Who better to discuss it with than family?
"I do not know, man. He just said this was why he was hired." It was no secret that Patrick did not care for the military. He had not hidden this from anyone, but Adrian was over there stammering, and Patrick waved a hand. "Man, forget I mentioned it. We can safely return to talk about boxes and guns and roommates with dogs. I have a dog, but I find I am not a good pet owner. I am much more comfortable with trees." Which was true, and the dude touched his fingers to one pointed ear in emphasis.
