Did he feel odd about it? His head tilted but he slowly shook his head in the negative. "I wouldn't ask you to give him up, Ragnar." His old friend had been lonely, something that Athelstan understood. "I wouldn't ask you to give him up -- and I don't want you to, Ragnar. But I am glad you have nicknamed him Stan." Otherwise it would have been confusing when he was calling for only one but both of them showed up.
But then -- Ragnar could call him Connor, and there was a little duck of his head when he did so. Connor was new -- comparatively. "You don't have to call me that," he said quietly. "I like hearing my name from you."
It was something he was sure about, unlike sex, and what he may or may not enjoy between the two of them. That's what Ragnar was asking about, even if he didn't say as much. But he had no answers on that front, nothing except his own worries and confusion.
