Re: Dinner: Athelstan and Ragnar
"Not in as many words," Ragnar reasoned. "But I see what she was saying now. She wished for me to keep my faith. That not all terrible things were coming to me. There would be something good. You are my something good," he said unashamedly.
A smile stole over his lips. "I am a jealous man, you know this," Ragnar teased. "I am not sure if I wish to share the man I love with the woman I love." He grinned, but he was pretty sure he could. He was pretty sure he would love to watch Athelstan and Lagertha together. She had asked the first time for his sake, but now, if Athelstan wanted it...
"It isn't that simple. How could I lay with someone else if you are here?" It wasn't as though Ragnar hadn't been with other women during his marriages, but this- was different. Not just because it was Athelstan, but because of how he had changed, how he thought now.
"Mhm, the cool kids," Ragnar murmured, exhaling softly as their lips touched, fire shooting through his veins. So simple. He was sure he would just burn up if he had Athelstan pressed against him.
He remained in place for a moment, though he knew the other man wasn't coming back. Not yet. Ragnar smiled, then stood, picking up their empty dinner plates. "I will get dessert on. And then I will show you to the room you can have if you wish it. And where my room is too-" he grinned. "Should you wish it."
