Re: Museum: Connor and Ragnar
Though Ragnar was frequently in his thoughts, Lagertha was not far behind. How differently so many things would have been if they had stayed on the farm, if Ragnar had never become Earl or King. But he had, and Aslaug had come into their lives, and Ragnar's children.
He missed them.
But he did not have to miss Ragnar any longer, and the question of his phone was easier to answer than the truth about the prince. He could hold off on that for a moment. "I do, I barely use it though. You can call me," he said with a little smile and gave him the number to do with it what he wished.
There was no more putting it off then, and he squirmed, because there was a matter of -- Ragnar would ask until he got to to the truth of the thing. Desire was trickier -- did he desire men? No more than women, and no less, and the truth of it was he desired companionship more than sex and always had. Who the companion was, and if they were male, or female, or identified as something else was not of issue. "Because he deceived me," Athelstan said honestly, and continued on with the truth. "He wore your face."
