Ragnar lifted his shoulder in a shrug, grinning. "No. I do not think it did. I didn't stop feeling for you, you know that. It does not matter who else I was involved with, it was always you. And her. Right here-" he patted his chest.
He was genuinely deeply fascinated by Athelstan's story, though. The Fae had not been mentioned a lot in the stories of his people, and now Ragnar wanted to know.
"He was courting you, and you turned him down- because he was deceiving you, or because you did not desire men? You do not desire men?" Ragnar asked. It was a thing that, though it had bemused him, he had come to accept. That not all people were fluid in their desires. And he had had to recognise that in Athelstan. He would accept that now, too. Ragnar would never assume that time had changed so many things.
"You did not have wings, though. It is fine. I will look forward to those stories. Um do you...do you have a cell phone? I can take your number, we can message each other?"
