Re: [In between: Sif and Hel]
Sif knew that there was time for many things, and if Hel had not yet met Thor in this life, there would likely come a time when it would happen. At this point, the question was if Sif would be in Repose with them when it did. And had Hel voiced her opinion about enjoying the way their pantheon continued to survive, Sif might have just agreed with her.
The seat near the fire was comfortable - would have been for anyone that accepted it. It was the way of this place to create what the occupants needed as part of Sif's abundance and generosity. So: comfortable seat, and at the question and small gesture of nodded head, the other woman could find her 'smoke' of choice waiting on the seat next to her, as if it had been there from the start.
If Hel's more masculine mannerisms disturbed Sif in the slightest, it didn't show. It was unlikely that it did though, with the sorts that she hosted around her fire. The warriors especially were carved rough around their edges, and not all of them resided within male forms. How someone acted or looked did not change their invitation to her fire. There was space enough for everyone, even when the clearing filled with those needing a temporary rest from whatever journey they were on.
"Did you?" She laughed around the question, and the pale blue eyes that looked over from around the fire were filled with amusement. "Well that's not much of a compliment, is it?" She finally stopped moving around the clearing, coming to stop at a seat several away from the one Hel had chosen. With a quick rearrangement of her skirt, she sat. The firelight caught in her hair, taking it from something pale and gilding it a shade of sunfilled honey. "Why the low opinion of me?" The other woman's questions were put on pause for the moment, set carefully to the side but not forgotten.
