Re: Boat dreams: Athelstan/Ragnar
"No. I think of my dog as my companion. And I wished it were you who stayed with me. He will always be with me and he loves me unconditionally," Ragnar teased, still a little pink in his cheeks.
"Do you think you will even find Repose?" Ragnar asked with a sad smile, seeing the change in Athelstan's expression, misreading it. "I will be at the museum in the city, that is where I work. Or I will be by the lake. I live there. It is beautiful. The view. I wish you could see it."
He let out a sigh, his fingers gently stroking through Athelstan's curls. "My Gods will not let me come to Valhalla. They do not care for me." Ragnar held on, as though he almost knew that his dream would be ending soon. "I need you to remember that I always think of you. It has never changed. You are in my soul, Athelstan."
