Re: Log: Archie and Adrian Adrian socked that one away for future reference. "Lots of grandma chintz?" It implied a few things though, namely money. Most people didn't talk about a 'family home' unless the words meant something more than 'my parents' house.'
The underlying scent under Adrian's skin was creosote ash, smoke thick with more than just clean-burning woodsmoke. There was nothing clean about it. He had no aptitude for the strangeness of other people, though magic on objects and in environments sometimes made his nose wrinkle a little. As far as he knew, Archie was just a guy from the bar. He didn't expect anything more, and why would he? Sure the weirds outnumbered the normies in Repose, no question, but he wasn't one of the ones who felt comfortable putting it out on front street and hoping for the best.
That little bump was so cute it earned him a dissonant, pleased hum. "I like a bath," he said, his compressed smile curling to his ears. His breath hitched a little when Archie skated fingers under his shirt. "But ugh - chafing." He looked Archie up and down, lips to pretty eyes. "Let's clean up later," he said, and caught his mouth with his own, plush lips gapped open.
Archie liked the smell. He probably wasn't going to say that out loud, either, but he drew in a deep breath that Adrian would no doubt hear. They weren't asking questions, it was what it was.
That smile was a killer, it made Archie tingle, giggle softly, a flush creeping up into his cheeks at the look up and down. His fingers continued their path over his ribs and back down to his hips, expression almost bashful.
"After-" he said softly, in agreement, the word barely making it's way out before their lips met, parting his own as they pressed closer. His fingers reluctantly left Adrian's skin, if only for a few moments, so that he could wrap them in the front of the other man's shirt, pulling him towards the bed.
"This is going to need to come off," Archie murmured, not letting their lips part, nipping at Adrian's lower one. "If you don't mind."
