Re: Adrian M/Claire J
Most people do not bother to discuss religion with me so it does not get on my nerves. I try not to bring it up because I have been labeled as preachy. There are creatures out there demanding people worship them and yet I am the religious zealot. We are all sinners. The point is that whatever that means to you, God will forgive it as long as you want to be forgiven for it. Learn and try to do better next time.
Scientology is a money grab. [...] Actually, I do. I can read in Latin, Ancient Greek, Ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, a little Cuneiform, and more Hieratic and Demotic than Hieroglyphs. But even then it is difficult to fact check ancient writings. For example, malakoi is a Greek word that means soft. It could, technically, be used to describe being effeminate, but in a moral context it is being spineless. And arsenkoitai is a very rare word that literally translates as male-bedders: arsen (male) and koites (bed). But the very few times it is used in Greek writings it is in reference to abuse of the poor. It changes the meaning of the verse drastically.
