What I find helps me is remembering that while today may not be good, there is something good in every day. Try to look for those good things that happen. Maybe it is only a cup of delicious coffee that day. Maybe it is a cloud that resembles something amusing. Maybe it is a smile from a stranger on the street. But it is something. Find it. Write it down. Even if it is only one thing. You will start to see more if you look for it. Sometimes it helps. I suppose it depends on what is making you feel like a mess. No drugs. Most everyone here has some sort of power, and that is mine. The offer is always there, but I understand and respect the choice to get there on your own.
