Re: [wren & jeremiah]
Heart's positive reaction to him made Wren laugh, enough that it provoked him to cough and cover his mouth while still trying to pet the dog.
His smile was still there when he looked up at Jeremiah and reached to take his tea with a slightly wheezy 'thank you', blowing at it before he dared to sip. "She does?!" he exclaimed, or as best as he could anyway, not really a question, just thrilled that he'd made such an impact on the dog.
He tried to sip at his tea but it was too hot and scalded his mouth a little bit, making him suck in air and wave at his mouth a bit, coughing once more and then whimpering when that hurt his chest. He placed his tea carefully down at the side in readiness for the soup, huddling up against the dog's side a little bit.
"It's okay Jeremiah, I'm happy to spend time with you." he promised, shivering now and again from the chills that raced through his body. "I'm very warm." he said in apparent contrainess to his shivering, but he felt uncomfortably hot and dizzy even as he sat there.
