Re: leo/charlie - exploring
Charlie smirked. “Oh, so you’ll be pleased when I ask you for a pic and to dress him like my groom,” she teased, leaning forward on her heels so she was a little closer to that outstretched arm. She liked it, this grandeios showing of his father, but she wondered if Leo would’ve liked a more sentimental part of their lives commemorated. A quieter, simpler moment. She wondered how much he missed his dad in general.
“Is it weird? To not have people freaking out over you or coming in here?” Charlie knew of his show, of his childhood stardom. Everyone watched Adventures, including her, but she didn’t put two-and-two together for a little while during their college years. By then, they’d become friendly, and Charlie had little desire to fan girl over a friend for the sake of doing it. “If it is, I’ll ask you to sign something to make you feel better.” The teasing was soft, and she felt a little bit of loss when she moved away. Like her body rapidly cooled or the blood stopped running through her veins. She touched his arm again, hand catching the inside of his elbow and thumb running once, twice over that small part of his arm. A spark warmed her body again, and she blushed a little bit, as she was sure that he could feel the heat from her fingertips.
“So you’re keeping it for both of you then. That’s good.” Charlie, maybe she wasn’t convinced by all of that. She was sure that it was more for himself, but she didn’t press the issue. Instead, she waved both her hands and shook her head. She also began to unbutton her gray pea coat. “Well then, they need to fuck off.” She paused while in the middle of the motion to shrug it off. “Wait. Which one of those did you think I’d fall into?” A smirk to tell him that she’s kidding, and she finished removing her coat.
