"I am," Jeremiah nodded, he'd given his name on the forums, never mind that it didn't sit right, and it really hadn't. It gave him the feeling of pretending to be something he wasn't, but then that had been a good portion of his life since he'd arrived in Repose, the Halloween party had simply been a more literal version of that. "It's a pleasure, Eames."
Eames who was definitely not a carnie.
He was well dressed, something Jeremiah could certainly appreciate, the coat was striking, and the shoes were spectacular. Eames was certainly broader than he was, Jeremiah stood just over six feet, but his height was lean and grace, and hardly as intimidating as Eames' breadth might be. He could likely be intimidating if he wished to be, but largely he struck with Jeremiah's approval thus far.
Having completed a full scan of the man he had agreed to meet he glanced up at the Bed and Breakfast windows. "I think we'll count that a relief on all fronts," he turned back to the other man with a quirk of his eyebrow. "Although I'd hardly expect you to confess to it had you knocked someone off."
He pulled his hands from his pockets, pulling out leather gloves and sliding them on over ringed fingers. He was going to have to give in to a warmer coat probably. Perhaps he should have said Florida, when he'd been asked where he wanted to move. Although, despite the chill in the air, the lake itself felt a bit like Lake Washington, and while nothing could compare to home, there was something comforting about it all the same.
