Re: Coffee: Archie W/Caleb R
Archie's own smile grew even bigger at the bashful look on Caleb's face, the little look away- Well, he was stupidly handsome. Archie could feel a flush building up in his cheeks, and yes, he was still very glad that he'd eaten. Both for the physical reactions it allowed him and because he liked the sensations of shivers and flutters and all the things his body seemed to still cling onto when it was warm.
"You're welcome. It seemed polite. And I wanted you to be reassured in person," Archie nodded sincerely, letting the door close behind Caleb once the other had entered.
"As I said, perhaps it's a little selfish, so do forgive me that, but I was rather tantalised by the whole- interaction. It was my first event, yes. I arrived just as everyone was talking about postcards-" Archie walked over with Caleb's coffee, handing it to him.
"I understand that you're unhappy with who you were. I myself am certainly not an angel. And I'm certainly not able to do anything in the Lord's name. But who you were then, I'm not going to let that influence how I look at you now. That's what you want, isn't it?" He smiled again.
"I don't have any bad memories of that night, if that helps at all? I really wanted to...assure you of that."
