Re: Call: Jeremiah/Hannah
It tastes like home, mostly. It’s my next to last bottle so I’m trying to savour it a bit.
[Theres a pause, he seems to consider, but he takes another sip of the wine and gives in readily.] it was in Seattle and it was not terribly high, but not very low. A few floors up, with enough of a view despite all the buildings around. It was close to everything: market, theaters, clubs, museums. It had a small kitchen but easy enough to cook, and the furnishings were modern, simple lines. I lived there until I came here and sometimes I feel as if I clank about in this place. It’s nice, and I can’t complain about the sunrises but it’s too big for just me. [A beat.] Do you like to plant things though?
