Re: [Outside the Rec Center.]
Noah was being Noah. Just like Holly was being Holly, and that didn't involve the kind of innocence of not knowing exactly what he was doing by holding his cock in place with the waistband of his pants. That was, like, Holly's job, right? Knowing exactly how to lead a guy there, and Noah was easy to bait. He watched, and he knew it wasn't innocent, which was why, even amid all the imagining that had him a lot harder than he'd been before, which was already hard—which was why, amid the imagining, he made that sound of irritation. A wordless ugh, come on, an I know what you're doing. I like it. I hate being easy. But, Noah's irritation wasn't real, because, yeah, as far as torture went, this was fucking great.
Holly's moan was another type of torture, dude. Noah knew they weren't getting naked in the backseat of his Jeep, like, a couple miles down from the Rec Center, no matter how empty the road was. He got that. (He would've been chill with, like, getting jerked off or jerking Holly off or, you know, things like that though, if it needs to be said. Just saying.) Knowing he wasn't going to get to, like, earn those moans any other way, Noah wanted them where he could get them. It might've been part of acting for Holly, for the audience or whatever, but moaning to Noah—when it was real—was pretty vulnerable, right? And as sexy as hell.
Noah wondered, at the cast of that glance from Holly, if Holly wanted to see his armpit. He looked sideways at it, then back to Holly, whose filter of memory was coming through loud and clear. Noah laughed a little, jittering Holly. "You definitely rewatched it. How close did you get to the screen?" He was teasing. He rolled his eyes at the stool comment, but that was teasing too. His smile loosened, unspooled into open consideration as Noah thought about being jealous. "Yeah, I am. A little. It's your job, so, I get that. And it's not real, which I get too. But, yeah, a little. I'd be more jealous if I could see what you said to people, like, one-on-one, probably." That was definitely true. "But, I liked watching you last night and I kinda liked that those dudes didn't get to have what I did." Noah's smile had softened, and, he was a little nervous too. Probably thanks to Holly, but it was there.
He laughed a little at being told he wouldn't remember. Unthinkingly, he brought his hand to the back of Holly's head and played with his hair, brushing his fingers through it. "I remember. I was wooing you with my Romeo and Juliet knowledge." Noah grinned. He thought back. "So that whole first conversation was, what? Business?" More teasing and he smiled at Holly. He felt him clear his throat. The smile turned into incredulity though, real quick. "Whoa, whoa, whoa." He'd never fallen for anyone? Hello? "Wait, wait, wait. Is this—" He pulled his hand from Holly's hair to gesture between them. "—distance? It doesn't look like distance to me." He shook his head. "You just think I fall for anyone." His hand went back to cradling Holly's skull and his smile went soft again. "Yeah? You do too."
