Re: Bookstore: Caleb R/Dietre A
The attractiveness level of those around him was not something Dietre usually paid much mind to, it was a thing he felt wasn’t too important when it came to people he interacted with. Granted, Liam and Oliver were both quite good looking, each in their own way, but not since Nilus had Dietre found himself awed by someone’s looks. That is, until the man in white approached him and said his name. There was no one he could be but Caleb, though he wasn’t at all what Dietre had been expecting. If one were to look up the word ‘handsome’ in the dictionary, a photo of this man’s face would be beside it as an example.
Dietre could feel himself getting tongue tied, and the longer he went without speaking the worse it would get. His pale complexion became tinged with pink as he managed to croak, “H-hello…” He swallowed, then averted his gaze to make it easier to talk. “Yes-- I’m Dietre.” A low voice, husky, and soft enough to almost be drowned out by the ambient noise of coffee machines and the hum of conversation between other cafe patrons. “I take it you’re Caleb..?”
Wanting to focus on anything but Caleb’s face, Dietre’s eyes fixed on the camera the man held. His brow furrowed, head canting in curiosity as he moved closer, “...You’re a photographer?” Anyone with their fingers in the Arts was interesting to Dietre. Musicians, artists, writers… Each of his few friends seemed to be one or the other, creative people were who he felt most comfortable around.
