Now Sadie, nobody would have ever said the girl had a lack of confidence, not when she held the violin in her hand at least. Crowds, playing for people, this was where she shined her best. It was where she always had. It didn't matter the walk of life, from professionals to panhandlers, Sadie could appeal to them all. Or she tried her best anyway and, again when the violin was in her hand, she usually had a pretty good go of it.
Could be the way she laughed, like the way she did when he said he didn't know much Classical. It was light and warm and a big, bring, smile, came along with it to real clear it wasn't he that was being laughed at.
"S'alrigh'" She smoothed out the 'T' on purpose this time but adjusted as she carried on. "I know more of it than there is to like." Which she also thought was true. Most of it was just, well, it was dull was what it was. It didn't have the slightest beat or thing that would make you want to tap your toes. Those, like the thing he'd thought to request just now by saying he didn't think it could be done, this were her very, absolute, most, favorite things in the whole wide world to play.
"Could be you'd be surprised." She smirked at him a bit as she rolled back her heels and let the first notes of the medley start to roll out. No doubt, they'd be recognized at once. She figured there should have been some base notes in there, but she was able to keep the percussion up by scuffing her toes on the case she made a point to tap closed with her toe so no more money could be thrown in. He'd paid for the songs, and now they were just to be enjoyed. Plus she thought the songs she pulled out? Well, they should have satisfied the not-so-request just fine.
And Sadie? Well she just sat back when it was all done, ready to offer him another if he didn't like it.
"There's not much one can't pull out of a violin, if ya try hard enough." She smiled happily.
