Re: [Webster's Vinyl: Holly & Jamie]
Holly didn't know any ballet, but extensive knowledge was not required to recognize that toe sneak back and forth as something that indicated some type of dance training. If he hadn't been talking to Rudy on Youtube, the movement might have been written off as something unique to this version of Jamie and without any true depth of meaning behind it, but, nah. Holly was observant. Observation was a safeguard, and he put two and two together and got four, which just made him more eager to, you know, get back to work. Not that having spoken to this guy on Youtube made anything worse or increased complications, but it was just more stuff in Holly's currently too-crowded head.
Jamie was over there joking about kissing girls, and Holly attempted to make salient points about Queen and advancements in recording, and then he breathed a sigh of relief when he made his big exit and went to help some high schoolers with best ways to get explicit lyric stuff past their parents.
When he noticed Jamie at the checkout, Holly ambled over and rung him up. He glanced at the Armstrong, but he didn't say anything. He just bagged it all in a recycled cardboard sleeve that said Webster's on it, and he watched the not-guy walk out the door.
