Re: [Lake: Misha/Damian.]
Damian felt somewhat vulnerable at the moment, and he was attempting to detach his emotions from the likes of Dawson and his exit. It was easier to do this when he felt a semblance of control, and it was easier to feel this when he was not curled up in Misha's lap. Undoubtedly, he would find his way there, but for now, it felt better to sit this way. It felt like he was not so weak, perhaps.
"I do not think teasing about anyone leaving is going to make anyone feel better, regardless of their relationship status. It betrays a lack of empathy and a basic lack of understanding of the emotions of others." Damian felt this was obvious. Adrian was an idiot. "It is likely he inferred or assumed, said what he inferred or assumed, and did not think of how or why this might be bothersome to someone. I am sorry Dietre was fussed, though I feel he is always fussed, and that that is much more about him than anyone else. I have said this however, so I will not fall into redundancies." Damian eyed Misha when the boy kissed his cheek. He did not know what he felt about the Vatican. Not much. "You are welcome." Pale fingers twirled in dark hair, and Damian blinked slowly. "I do not know. A call center?" Damian did not know the names of these things. "I will speak upon it with Claire." He did not particularly care about Claire or her General Equivalency Diploma acquisition, but he did care that Misha cared for her. "If it sounds as a good idea to you, then I will help you as I can."
