Re: dead guys house: des, newt, & pat
[She nodded along with what they'd decided to do about the man upstairs, even though she didn't really know the first thing about what the solution entailed. It felt wrong, and worse than that, it felt terrible. Just godawful. This wasn't the first time her magic had taken human life, but Destiny had been so active in this man's death that the situations felt wholly separate and unalike to her. Although it'd been an accident, there was guilt of course. If she wasn't so fuzzy-minded, there would have been room for fear too. All that she could really focus on in the moment was that Newt couldn't bring the man back to life. So that was it. There was nothing to be done. Patrick would get rid of the body and they could go on with their lives.
It took two times for her to look at Newt. Twice of him asking about the dead things, and Destiny gave him a slow blink.] No, but they want to be.
[The water was a good idea, and she moved to the kitchen because it made for something to do.] Do you want some water as well?
