Re: dead guys house: des, newt, & pat
[The dead animals roaming the living world were a very related, but also entirely separate problem, and one that Destiny was not yet aware of. She didn't remember raising them from their death beds, but she didn't really remember anything from the last week and a half. She hadn't eaten or drunken anything, but she found herself without hunger or thirst. Her muscles ached from disuse, and there were fading bruises on the exposed parts of her arms and legs, but she didn't feel terrible for missing almost two weeks of her life. In fact, aside from the slight yellowy-green spots of healing bruises, she looked great. Refreshed, the girl practically glowed as if just emerging from some supernatural spa day.
When Newt asked about where the man was, she gestured wordlessly to the stairs. She didn't quite know what to say, and her eyes were a little wide to suggest she was still in some degree of shock when Patrick suggested they sit. She found a seat in the adjacent dining room where there was a big empty table with lots of empty chairs.]
