Re: Newt's Case: Adrian M/Newt P/Patrick G
Patrick would have agreed to anything that might make his head feel better, man. He did not like to whine, but this was most uncomfortable. He felt like he had a most terrible case of the flu, and he looked up from that bed to see Newt's worried face. It was not surprising, man, but it still made him smile. "A compress. All right, man, whatever you think." He knew whatever Newt did would not cause harm, and that was enough for the trusting dude upon the bed. He knew, too, that he had cause the other dude undue concern with his forum antics. "I am sorry for my homophobic commentary. Everything was loopy out there." He pointed beyond the huge window that faced the bed.
He was not aware of Adrian's presence (and his method of arrival) until the dude spoke. He rolled his head to the side, and then he pushed up onto his elbows with a grunt of discomfort. "Man, you look like shit, bro," was his kindly greeting to the sibling he hadn't seen in a seriously long time. "It might be over, but the forest still feels like shit." He flopped back, and he did not want to think about how hard it was going to get the outside world back to normal, man, no more than he wanted to focus on the fact that the state of the foliage seemed to impact his own ability to continue existing. "One thing is for certain, my dudes, I do not believe I would survive the apocalypse."
