Archie pursed his lips. He really didn't know what to do with all the revelations he was being given about Wren's life away from here, how difficult and feral it was. He didn't know what to say to the comments, he didn't know if he should comfort Wren or offer him some kind of solution to his situation. But there was a lot he didn't understand. So maybe they'd just settle on this for now. Nice things.
"Okay, but things change in the films as the plot goes on, so if you stop liking it it's okay. We can change it and watch something else." Perhaps he should have put on the kids shows on Netflix, that would have been safer. But now Archie was just worrying instead of enjoying their time together.
He picked up a slice of pizza and settled back against the pillow, tucking into it and trying to focus on the film instead of being so incredibly aware of the boy beside him. Should he ask Wren if he wanted to sleep here? If he did that would he end up keeping Wren here? And was that a terrible idea?
