Wren's beaming smile broadened into a blinding grin as his new friend approached him, his excitement making him restless on his feet, and he eagerly returned the hug he was given when Archie reached to enfold him in his arms, the thrum of nervous and surprised but happy energy obvious in the way he was shaking just a little bit. "It's so lovely, I'm so happy to meet you too Archie!" he enthused back. When the hug proved to be an actual hug and not just an awkward back slap Wren sighed and melted into it easily, the close contact touch after going so long without enough at the moment to keep him from falling back on old conditioned habits and to stop something comforting and innocent turning into something unpleasantly sad.
He let Archie go without fuss, as though he knew he was lucky for getting a hug at all and didn't want to push his luck, and he chuckled somewhat bashfully when Archie readjusted his flowers, pleased that his friend had both noticed and seemed to like them. He let Archie check him out and just as he was about to suggest something that might have been a little sordid in response to the once over he was getting, Archie brought him back around with mentions of milkshakes.
"I don't mind, I'm happy to go out with you!" he squeaked enthusiastically, genuinely happy to do anything. He was in raptures when Archie took his hand, curling his fingers around Archie's immediately and standing close. "Oh, then we can get milkshakes, I hope I don't have bad dreams."
