Re: [Takeout: Ren/Hannah/Reece]
Reece was, uh, not thinking about being perfect for Ren? Because he was in a relationship—even if he didn't really understand it either. It was complicated. It was always complicated, at least it always was for him. Mostly, right now, he was focused on getting noodles into his mouth, instead of on his shirt, and he was listening to Hannah beside him babble about drinks and Claire and sangria and limoncello and Rory—oh, God, Rory. He hadn't told Hannah about biting off Rory's dick at the last party or whatever. With the books. That was scarring, man. And not just for him. But, and he was pretty sure about this, he thought Hannah liked Rory, and he didn't want to, like, have to admit to a) giving the man what was likely a complex, or b), you know, just biting someone's dick off, even if it was inside of a book or whatever.
Anyway, thinking about that was not helping with the food consumption, and Reece set his chopsticks down a little queasily. "Cool," he offered, once Hannah had finished talking about alcohol. Thoughtlessly, he took the beer she passed him and opened it, metal cap against metal palm, and he handed it back. He then opened his own beer, with a nod of thanks to Ren, and he took a long, thorough swallow. Better to wash away the taste of that horrible fucking memory of a lifeless cock on his tongue.—He teased Ren about doing his ghost impression, and smiled happily when this set Hannah on a roll. She laughed and talked, and asked a question, then answered herself.
"You and Mars?" He was a little surprised, given the conversation he'd had with Mars way back when, pretending to be Hannah. "That'll be fun. I can't really imagine Rory in a bathing suit. I feel like he'd wear his rumpled suit, just shooting down a slide." Reece grinned as he took another swallow of the beer. "I've been, you know, fine. Uh. There's—uh..., a guy I'm maybe seeing." He glanced at Hannah, because it was a lot more complicated (I told you) than just being some guy, but now was not the place to talk about it. "I don't know. I'm supposed to take him on a date. Oh, and I went to a waterpark once and they wouldn't let me go down the slides because of my arm. They were convinced I was going to electrocute everyone. So, that was slightly humiliating." It didn't seem to bother Reece too much, because he smiled again, then looked expectantly at Ren.
