Re: [Takeout: Ren/Hannah/Reece]
Hannah wanted all her friends to like each other. It was idealistic, and maybe it was more of her naive, fairy tale thinking, but she thought the people she liked would also like one another, and Reece and Ren were good examples. And when she'd gotten them to talk the first time, when Reece was just starting to question his sexually, she'd thought they'd be perfect each other. She knew Ren had his own Mr. Darcy across town, and Reece had a relationship she didn't understand really well, but anything could happen. And she smiled at them both and swing, swing, swing went her legs in lazy sway beneath the table.
"Vodka isn't really nice. But I had some whiskey once, and it was better! And Claire likes fruity drinks, like sangria and limoncello, and those are the best." Hannah could get drunk, and she could get high, and she liked both feelings a lot. But she didn't like the burn of alcohol alone. "I had something really strong with Rory once too. No, twice! But I'm not sure what, and it wasn't really nice." Rory carried one of those little bottles in his jacket pocket, and she never knew what was inside it.
She took the beer Ren offered, and she handed it to Reece to open , and then she took a long sip. It wasn't so bad, since it was really, really cold, and she immediately decided really, really cold was best. She put the bottle down and reached for her chopsticks, which she fumbled, and then she clicked them together with a copper-penny bright laugh. "I want to see your ghost impression. I didn't know you did that," she said, managing to close her chopsticks on some chicken, and managing to take a bite. "Are we supposed to talk about what we're doing lately?" Hannah was a talker, which Reece and Ren already knew. "I'll go first! Mars and I are going out for milkshakes, and Claire wants to go to a water park with Rory and David. David's my brother-in-law," she clarified. "I haven't ever been to a water park," she said chipperly. "Have either of you been?"
