"They didn't send napkins. I'll get us paper towels."
Which were sitting on the counter in easy sight, and Ren could grab them to pull them back over to the brand new IKEA table that his kitchen had. It was nothing particularly fabulous, but it allowed him to not eat on the floor and allowed his guests likewise to not eat on the floor, and this was almost a novelty. He had room suddenly for two guests, for them to eat an (almost) proper dinner, and for him to entertain them. This wasn't something he'd really anticipated coming around to in Repose, but with nearly a year under his belt here, he supposed maybe he should have expected it when he'd stayed for more than a few months.
He gave a smile at both Hannah and Reece, hoping he didn't come across as ridiculously nervous about entertaining as he felt. He'd had people over in the hotel room, and this was - despite the sparse furnishings - ever so much nicer than that. He really shouldn't be worrying about how this place was. He shook his head briefly at himself to shake away the thoughts. They had the food, the chopsticks and forks, and there were chairs and a table. This was fine.
And he suspected once they began talking about the park, no one was going to mind the lack of furniture or the cluttered counters, or the fact that the furniture there was could hardly be considered fine quality. And he did have information about the park that he hoped Hannah would be interested in. And he'd managed to get them on the list for tickets, which hopefully would come in soon.
"Does anyone want a beer?" He asked his two guests, trying to sort all their needs before he came and sat down. "Or I've got uh," he glanced on the still somewhat cluttered counter-top. "Wine, gin, and uh, sparkling water. I might have some lemon that could be put in the water if you want."
