Re: Loitering: Cat C & Reece E
Oh. Reece's confusion collapsed on itself, and even as Cat talked about reassurance, he felt like her worry was his fault. Because, well, it was. "I mean, I told you it was me." She obviously hadn't believed him. It had been personal to her. He didn't know what else to do, so he shrugged and just said: "Sorry. I didn't mean for you to—to do that." Feeling guilty, it was easier for Reece to accept Cat's idea that they should date. It didn't occur to him that he should have an equal say or anything, because she was probably right, and when he felt bad about doing something, he tended to agree to pretty much anything to make it up. It was a stupid personality trait. Maybe he could change it. (Oh, yeah, the reveal.)
(He forgot the reveal. Kissing was happening.) Cat's hand was against Reece's chin, then moving south, down his throat, which he liked. Why did he like that? Did people ask themselves why they liked things? Was that a thing? Cat sighed and then purred or something, and Reece was just surprised she sort of came at his tug. He didn't know how to receive her. Should he lay back? Should he not? Reece dithered slightly, which was compounded by the fact that he was distracted by the way Cat was kissing him, tongue and a want that felt deep. It was a little scary. Like water so deep it turns black. But, it was—it was good too, and Reece finally decided he should stay where he was, except he turned inward by bringing a knee up and against the back of the couch, his leg laid in front of him, heel near his crotch.
He liked the kissing. It felt good and the stuff with the tongues was way... he liked it a lot, and that was a good sign, right? She wouldn't feel hated? She might think he was lying about his attraction though, because he'd been okay with the other male body and now this one... He was overthinking. He knew he was overthinking. After a last lick into Cat's mouth, lingering, warm, and with his hand around the back of her neck, under heated collar, he broke the kiss. He didn't pull away. Instead, he asked: "Was it terrible?"
