Frank and Atticus: Coffee
Who: Frank and Atticus
What: Coffee and a slow walk
Where: Around Repose
When: Some time earlier in the week
Warnings/Rating: Presumably low.
The dogs had been a little bit disappointed that Frank was heading out of the house without them early in the morning, despite the fact that he had promised several times that when he got back they'd all go on an extra long walk to make up for it. They still followed him to the door, hopefully wagging their tails and looking for their leashes, and Frank knew it wasn't that much of a good thing that he could be guilt tripped by his pets.
"Later. I won't be long," he insisted again, backing out of the door and feeling like a monster.
He was looking forward to meeting Atticus. The other man seemed nice, he seemed like Frank's kind of guy. He still had all of their excessively long letters stashed away in one of his drawers, and felt such fondness thinking back on that correspondence. It'd be nice to converse with the man in person, to add an extra layer to that dynamic. And coffee.
Frank headed to the coffee shop he'd mentioned to Atticus, sandwiched between the library and a general store. He'd forgotten to ask Atticus what coffee he'd like, so he'd just have to wait around for a while, which was fine. It was a nice morning.
