Re: Ragnar and Marta: Museum
[Who's the worst at prompt tagging? It's meeee...]
It had been a while since someone had said her name quite so softly. She was used to sharp. She was used to tired. She could even admit that sometimes there was fond. But not soft, the way Ragnar said it. It was strange to her, but it didn't chase away her small smile.
People talking about things they loved were always interesting - even if the topic wasn't one of interest to Marta. She didn't get many chances to listen to someone like that, so his threat of rambling didn't really deter her. The cardboard sarcophagi made it obvious the sort of things that awaited inside the exhibit, but it was the first glimpse of real artifact that drew her in more. "Just go for it. I don't mind." And she didn't. The images she had inked on her skin were, for the most part, covered - and they didn't focus on death, necessarily. But had they been seen, they would have betrayed her interest in different religions around the world, and death practices were often a large part of that. So she was interested, even before they truly started on the 'tour'. Once they did, her attention was caught and focused on the things he thought to tell her.
