Feelings were, as he'd been told numerous times, a waste of effort for the type of thing they did. And for the most part it was easy to believe that. Most of the people he'd been sent after? Meant nothing to him, given he had no idea who they were. Even some of the government that he'd only glimpsed in papers or on the TV? easily taken out with barley a bat of an eye.
But around Jim he always felt...something. Not fear, not like the others that came and went. Small bubbles of emotion that he couldn't quite get rid of no matter how hard he tried.
