"That's really brilliant, Harry." A smile stretched across Ginny's lips -- an honest, happy expression. "I hope this means no more attempts at self-sabotage on that front, then?" She understood his initial doubts. At least, she understood how in that situation everything would be strange, would be suspect. She knew how so much of his life was something he framed as such a large disappointment despite the outcome of it all. She had never been able to figure out how to change that outlook for himself, but she could at least try to smack the tendency away from applying it to the potential of a relationship with his parents. He had wanted it for so long.
"You did not just flash that at me, Potter!" Ginny laughed. Despite the pointed way in which she felt the absence of his hand - the way the coolness of the room stung her skin - she reached out to smack his shoulder. "Fine then! You and your scar are welcome to charm your way past security. But you're not off the hook with being a good luck charm."
