Ron rolled his eyes. Honestly, that had been the main reason he had gone away on his trip of self discovery and wizard’s chess. He’d wanted to know who he was without his friends. The answer he’d come up with was that he was someone who needed to develop and be more mature about things, but that he needed his friends to be able to exist.
“It was all while I was playing in the world championship, Malfoy,” Ron said as he tapped the edge off his cigarette and looked around at the cafe they’d found themselves outside. “They stayed here and got on with life while I went off.”
