WHO. Lily & Sirius WHERE. Harry's overloaded flat WHEN. Monday 5th October WHAT. Some much needed face to face time WARNINGS. super unlikely
Lily was a little ashamed to admit that she had to steel herself a little before going over to Harry's flat to see Sirius, at a time when she hoped he would be the only one there. She had never liked confrontation, unless it was forced upon her unexpectedly, at which point her instincts tended to take over, so that she would blink and the next second the object of her wrath would be walking away looking dejected and a little stunned. Her feelings about things tended to bubble under the surface until they exploded in ways she tended to regret later.
On the other hand today was not about yelling at anyone at all, but at putting herself physically in front of Sirius so that he couldn't ignore her while she tried to talk to him. Since James would absolutely have insisted on coming along otherwise, she made hints until he decided to go flying. Five minutes later she was stepping through the Fireplace into Harry's London flat with a basket of muffins.
