DMLE OFFICER – Oliver & Terry
At least a few responses jumped to mind that would have firmly landed within the realm of 'smart aleck' or 'sarcastic' due to Oliver's increasing irritation with the situation, yet thankfully wasn't the kind to let such words slip past his lips unless there had been considerable thought weighed. However, what had been a halfhearted attempt at a congenial expression morphed into an obviously strained grin that didn't even begin to reach his eyes.
One month, one week, and two days, he thought to counter what he verbalised. "Yup."
It was an answer to both questions, Oliver had no reason to be evasive as much as not wanting to yell he was reoccurred into the decently busy pub; bad enough there were already people staring without any intent to turn away before this played out in full. Shame wasn't a reason as opposed to attempting to minimise the target he knew had been laser-pointed on him since the first breath of his unlife. Taking out his ID, he slid it across the short space between them wordlessly.
