"I've never had a problem with public speaking, and people who meet me catch on pretty quick that I don't pretend to care about things I don't really care about. And I care about the problems that the Reoccurred are dealing with. I'm honest, and I think honesty is an important part of good leadership. I also understand that it isn't just talking. It's listening. I know my experience isn't exactly like everyone else's, and part of representing such a large, diverse group means listening when they share their experiences and concerns.
