Pansy Parkinson is better than you (pug) wrote in reoccurrence,
When he spoke, Pansy knew exactly who he was. Severus had a distinct enough voice that a grin spread across her lips in recognition. It was certainly a pleasant surprise to have him there. Pansy would have thought he'd lock himself away in a dungeon for the rest of his second life, but she was happy to see that she had been wrong.
"Well, well, well," she said, putting her hands on her hips as she assessed his disguise. "You never asked. Too busy leaning over a cauldron to assess the hopes and dreams of those left in your care most of the year." Her tone was particularly dramatic, but lest Severus Snape refuse to find a sense of humor, her smile gave her away. She hadn't expected him to be interested, nor had she been vying for his attention, but he made it easy enough to tease him.
"Now, were you just passing by, or did you seek me out?" she asked him, motioning for him to follow her off the sales floor. It never was a good look to simply be catching up with someone in the doorway. Her sales people had plenty of work to do. "If you weren't looking for me specifically, you can go ahead and lie. It'll make me feel special."
