Once Nathan was positive that he was out of sight from anyone, he made a mad dash for his dormitory. He darted through the common room and up the stairs so quickly that he was shocked to have not run into anyone. He stopped once he'd made it to his bed and could fling everything atop his slightly wrinkled blanket. There was no time to put the rubbish away.
Forgetting about his books, with was actually a great feat for the boy, Nathan grabbed his dark blue jumper. Instead of putting it on, he let it rest in his arms. The fringe that was falling in his eyes made it difficult to see for a moment, but he simply shook it out and retraced his steps, just as quickly as he had first made them. He didn't know what the hurry was, but something told him to walk faster than a flobberworm.
He didn't spot the familiar face right away, so he decided to just wait inside the Great Hall, close to the door. Others were probably looking at him and shaking their head at the loner kid. Of course, people most likely didn't care what he was up to, but he was paranoid anyway.
When he heard the voice speaking to him, he gasped, but smiled and turned around. "I do, and yourself?"
