Okay, maybe she was being melodramatic. seriously, who goes out and stares at a lake in actual reflection? she mused silently. Well, whatever the case was, Haleigh found herself not far from the lakes edge trying to figure out how to reorganize her life. Who knew letting people in was so much...work?
Not only did she find herself trying to organize these new people in her life in a way that she felt made sense, she also, through no desire of her own, felt herself worrying about them--actually caring about things that affected them personally. This was probably more disconcerting than anything else. Well, that and the fact that she now had to own up to the fact that she actually did care about what others thought about her. At least a little.
So she stared out at the lake so more, waiting for Libby to help her come sort out the mess in her head.
