Axel: /scoops up midgets like momma cat and takes them home B|
Reading Axel wasn't easy in the first place, so he couldn't blame the kids if they missed a few things here and there. He was temporarily distracted by his own train of thoughts again--allowing them to swim and scatter--but out of the corner of his eye Xion's smile caught his attention and pulled him back to the room. Right. The three of them were here...right?
He didn't smile back at the two of them, not yet anyway, though his expression did seem to lighten. It was strange. Shouldn't there be tension? After all they'd been through? But Axel had to remember that they were still kids, after all, and somethings just didn't register to them as bad. They could be easily forgotten and pushed away because...that's what kids did, right? At any rate he forced himself to smile a bit, one corner of his lips pulling upward, before heading over to the vacant chair which he assumed was for himself.
