It was easy to tell that this one was a little more than sketchy and Axel was very close to suggesting that the three of them move elsewhere, but when he spotted that subtle gesture he paused and held his tongue. What, was this guy honestly expecting him to get up from his seat? For a moment he simply stared at the boy's back and watched him disappear around the corner--trying not to seem too suspicious towards Xion and Roxas, of course--before he stood from the table and decided to follow, steps and posture calm and collected as he'd practiced it to be several times before.
It was...somewhat easy enough getting away from those two in the past and though Axel hadn't wanted to do it, well, there were certain things that he had to pursue and figure out on his own, and in those cases he knew that Roxas and Xion couldn't become caught up in his business. Too risky. Too cumbersome.
Once he was standing in the hallway and out of sight he peered around to see the guy pressed up against the wall...but for now he didn't say anything. This guy wanted to talk? Let him break the ice.
