The two were dressed odd. That was the first thing that Hansel noticed. Their clothes weren't like what he was wearing, that was for sure. He supposed that he really shouldn't be surprised. The buildings were strange too, from what he could see at a distance. The bag he carried with the bars inside it was weird too. So were the bars, actually. Wrapped in that weird wrapping whatever it was.
Hansel's eyes went to Barry's hand when he offered it in greeting. After a beat, he took his hand an shook it. "Hansel," he said, shifting the bag on his shoulder and removing his own box from within it. He held it out to Barry. "Joey's box is in there," he said. "Don't need a party, just need to find my sister." That was the important thing, as far as he was concerned. Nothing else really mattered until he could see Gretel. He needed to know that she was alright and until his eyes had rested upon her, he wasn't going to believe that she was.
